Ferenc Albert Ready To Finally Become A Champion
24-year old Albert (24-12, 12 KOs) will face another young Hungarian in former UBO International title-challenger Gergely Horvath (7-6, 3 KOs) at the “A TEREM” Fight Hall in Budapest, headlining a show promoted by Tibor Feja and his Fight Night Show Promotions.
Having turned professional in December of 2014, Albert has been extremely busy and ready to take on all comers. He has challenged for multiple titles and shared the ring with names such as Jamie Cox, Tony Kraft and Anthony Yarde, but so far never managed to pick up a belt.
He will however be considered a healthy favorite to do so on October 28 against Horvath (23), who came up short earlier this year against Slovakian Viktor Biscak in a fight for the UBO International Cruiserweight title. Horvath has since won two of three fights, and is coming down in weight for his second title-opportunity.
Also on the card will be a bout for the Interim Hungarian Super Lightweight title between Zsigmond Vass (13-6, 2 KOs) and Mihaly Donath (9-9, 0 KOs).
Budapest-man Vass lost a unanimous decision in a fight for the UBO International title against current UBO European Super Lightweight Champion Gabor Kovacs in February of 2016.
